When you have problems with your Google Pixel phone, of course, you want to fix it. After you tried some solutions to fix it, the last effort to do is to factory reset Google Pixel phone. Resetting your telephone hardly will fix almost all problems. It also becomes an easy fix process before you bring it to the center for professional technical help.
Steps to factory reset Google Pixel Phone
A factory reset brings your device to its original condition. It means that your data will be deleted. Before you continue, make sure that you have a data backup. These are some ways to do a factory reset with Pixel Phone. If your phone with anti-theft enabled, your PIN will be required before reset your device.
- Go to the Home screen. To open the menu, swipe up on the screen and scroll down choose Settings.
- Scroll down and choose System.
- Scroll down choose Reset options.
- Choose Erase all data (factory reset).
- Choose Erase all data.

When Google Pixel completes deleting the data, you can select an option to reboot your device. After reactivating, you can restore the data from backup. Hard reset with recovery mode

- Ensure the device is powered off.
- Press and hold the Power + Volume Down buttons until bootloader mode (image of an Android with Start above it) appears, then release.
- If presented with an image of a broken Android with “No Command” shown on the screen, do the following:
- Press and hold the Power button.
- While holding the Power button press the Volume Up button then release the Volume Up button then the Power button.
- Select Recovery Mode.
- Utilize the Volume buttons to cycle through the available options and the Power button to select.
- The device will flash the Google start screen momentarily and then restarts in Recovery mode.
- From the Android Recovery screen, select Wipe data/factory reset.
- Select Factory data reset. Allow several minutes for the factory data reset process to complete.
- Select Reboot system now. Allow several minutes for the factory data reset and reboot processes to complete.
By resetting the Google Pixel to the factory settings, all original settings and factory settings will be applied. All data and settings saved on the Google Pixel will be deleted and the phone automatically reset and reboot.
